At first, Aaron and Stella could totally ignore each others crying but that phase seems to be over. During the day I've worked out a way to feed them both at the same time (prop each up on a boppy) but then you have to remove both bottles so you can burp one and not have the other one choke while your hands are full. That is doable. But when they both finish and start to get drowsy you have to pick the one most likely to act up and hold them until they fall asleep. And if the other one (which I tend to call the 'good baby') decides that they no longer want to be mellow and starts crying then neither baby falls asleep. It's awesome. And by awesome I mean it sucks. Now you've got two howling babies - one in your arms and another staring at you wondering why you picked up the other baby. So you can choose to take care of one fully or do a really lame job of taking care of both. Both kids decided that naps were for suckers so they chose not to take them. I guess we can't complain as long as they keep sleeping well at night.
On another note, the babies are officially on the grid: Their social security cards came in the mail. Now if I could only get them jobs...
